ProfiForex is a Belize-registered broker trading since 2010, offering Micro and Standard accounts from 1 USD, leverage to 1:500, the Mobius Trader 7 platform on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, and 251 instruments. This review examines its regulatory position, fees, payments, platforms and support, and the gaps a trader should verify before funding an account.
The findings below come from the broker's own published pages, its Client Agreement and Risk Disclosure, the live trading-conditions feed served to its client cabinet, and dated third-party sources where the site is silent. Where the marketing pages and the legal documents disagree, both versions are given and the discrepancy is recorded as a finding rather than resolved in the broker's favour.
The favourable points concern instrument breadth, explicitly published commission and spread data, cross-platform terminal coverage, the depth of the written documentation, and a support desk that operates continuously. The cautionary points concern the absence of any named regulator or licence, the entity actually named in the Client Agreement, the non-functioning FAQ, unpublished payment terms, and a body of dated withdrawal complaints that a prospective client should weigh.

The registration form offers two retail account types, Micro and Standard, each openable to an individual, a joint holder or a corporate entity. Trading costs, however, are organised into nine instrument groups with their own commission structures, so a trader's effective pricing depends on the group as much as on the account label.
| Feature | Micro Account | Standard Account |
| Balance denomination | US dollars and cents | US dollars |
| Minimum deposit | 1 USD | 5 USD |
| Maximum deposit | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Contract size | 1 lot = 1,000 USD | 1 lot = 100,000 USD |
| Minimum lot size | 0.01 | 0.01 |
| Maximum lot size per order | 10,000 lots | 1,000 lots |
| Simultaneous accounts | 200 | 300 |
| Maximum leverage | 1:500 | 1:500 |
| Swap-free option | Available | Available |
| Structure | What it is for |
| Individual | A single named natural person holds and trades the account. |
| Joint | Two named holders share the account, with a joint account name recorded at registration. |
| Corporate | A legal entity holds the account under its registered company name. |
A swap-free configuration is offered as an account option rather than as a separate product line. The broker's earlier published specification states that the swap-free account operates under the same terms and conditions as the standard one and that additional commissions apply. No administration-fee schedule, holding period or eligibility list is published on the current English site, so a client requiring this structure should confirm the current charges with support before opening. Readers should not assume that a swap-free account carries no cost.
The investment section provides a trader-monitoring area, direct investment into a manager's account, investor registration and an order-copying facility. This is not a discretionary managed account: the Client Agreement states that the company carries out execution only, without providing trust management and without giving recommendations. A separate partner track covers an internet-partner programme, other collaboration forms, promo codes and referral-link generation. An in-cabinet Prop Trading module also exists, but its published detail sits behind the login.
The broker names a wide spread of funding routes in its own cabinet configuration, spanning cards, bank rails, e-wallets and cryptocurrencies. Card and e-wallet coverage is broad; local rails serve several Asian and Eastern European markets. Multi-currency accounts are confirmed to exist, but the account-currency list itself is not published: the only enumeration the broker exposes is the payment-side currency enum inside the deposit page, which covers USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, CHF, NZD, AUD, CNY, RUB, UAH, ILS, IDR, MYR, THB and VND for fiat and BTC, BCH, ETH, DASH and LTC for crypto. The public website publishes no fee schedule, no minimum or maximum per method, and no processing time, so the figures below are limited to what is actually published.
| Class | Providers named | Currencies shown |
| Bank cards | Visa, MasterCard, Maestro-class gates, JCB, UnionPay, MIR through regional acquirers including YooMoney, Coincat, Interkassa, Moneta and Tinkoff | USD, EUR, RUB, UAH |
| Bank transfer | Wire Transfer, SEPA, P2P bank transfer, local bank rails for Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam | USD, EUR, IDR, MYR, THB, VND |
| E-wallets | Skrill, WebMoney, Neteller, PayPal, Perfect Money, Payeer, Piastrix, YooMoney, Yandex.Money, QIWI, Alikassa, iWallet and others | USD, EUR, RUB, UAH |
| Cryptocurrency | Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, DASH, Monero, XRP, Tether ERC-20, Tether TRC-20, StableCoins | Crypto assets against USD |
| Exchange gateways | Changelly, UniCrypt, CryptoCloud, Bitlocus, exchange-centre routes for card-to-crypto funding | USD, EUR, RUB |
| Internal | Transfer between accounts inside the cabinet | Account currency |
Pricing is published per instrument group rather than per account type. The commission statements are explicit and unusually direct, but they are also the only consistent source: the marketing pages quote different spread figures from the live feed, and neither publishes a full commission table.
| Group | Published cost | Instruments |
| Forex | 0.3 pips commission, charged for the whole deal | 44 |
| Forex ECN | Spreads from 0 pips, 0.6 pips commission | 8 |
| Forex big (BIG BONUS) | Bonus accrual of 80 USD per lot traded | 8 |
| Forex Fixed Spreads | Fixed spreads, no commission stated | 13 |
| Metals | 0.3 pips commission | 9 |
| CFD indices | 0.3 pips commission | 8 |
| Currency Exchange | Commission of up to 1% of the amount when buying | 7 |
| CFD stocks | Spread only, no commission stated | 143 |
| Crypto Currency | Spread only, no commission stated | 11 |
| Pair | Marketing page | Live feed |
| EUR/USD | 0.7 pips | 0.00023, or 0.00021 on the ECN group |
| GBP/USD | 0.9 pips | 0.00026 |
| USD/JPY | 0.8 pips | 0.018 on a three-decimal quote |
| AUD/USD | 0.9 pips | 0.00048 |
Swap rates for the short and long side of every instrument are published in the live feed, together with a separate Free Swap Commission column that typically shows a small negative percentage. The broker states that swap is charged at 00:00 server time on a GMT+3 clock and that Wednesday carries a triple swap. Swap values shown on the feed are current rates, not fixed terms, and they move with the market.
No account-maintenance fee, inactivity fee or platform fee is published on the current site. The Client Agreement nevertheless retains a legacy clause charging 100 USD per month where funds from accounts that were active on 9 February 2018 remain on older MetaTrader 4 servers and the client has not logged in or traded. A prospective client should confirm in writing that no equivalent charge applies to a new account.
The broker advertises leverage up to 1:500 and applies that figure to the Micro and Standard account types. There is no entity-level split, because no second regulated entity is published, so the same cap is presented to every client regardless of residence.
| Source | Stated maximum |
| Advantages page and account records | 1:500 |
| Client Agreement leverage definition | Enumerated only to 1:200 |
| Bonus page | 1:500 base, described as reaching 1:3000 with a 500% credit bonus |
The three published statements do not agree. The practical maximum a client receives is set at account opening and can be changed afterwards from inside the terminal, so the figure that matters is the one shown on the account itself.
Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains. At 1:500 a one-percent adverse move against a fully margined position wipes out the margin backing it, and the broker's own Risk Disclosure recommends keeping the margin level above 500% and always attaching a stop-loss order. A credit bonus that raises effective exposure to 1:3000 increases that risk rather than reducing it, because the credited funds are removed from the account on a stop-out. Position size, not the advertised leverage ceiling, is what determines whether an account survives a normal run of losses.
The broker operates a deposit-bonus programme with a headline range of 50% to 500%, selected by the client at the moment of deposit and credited automatically to each subsequent deposit. The bonus is recorded on the account as credit rather than as balance, and the broker states that it does not expire and may be withdrawn in parts.
Bonus and promotional terms carry conditions, and the broker's own page states that the credit can be cancelled. It says cancellation occurs on a stop-out, and that a withdrawal simultaneously reduces the bonus by five times the withdrawn amount. Those conditions materially affect how the credit behaves in a drawdown, and they are set out in the broker's own terms document, which a client should read in full before accepting any bonus. This review does not reproduce or summarise that document. A bonus should never be treated as reducing the risk of a trading strategy, and a credit that disappears exactly when a position is losing money is a risk characteristic, not an advantage.
One platform family carries the whole offering: Mobius Trader 7, the broker's own terminal. It is provided free of charge on every supported operating system, including a browser build, and the Client Agreement names it as the client terminal and treats its statement as proof of trading.
| Environment | Build published | Cost |
| Windows desktop | Native download | Free |
| macOS desktop | Native download | Free |
| Linux desktop | AppImage for x86_64 and ARM64 | Free |
| Android | Phone and tablet builds, APK and AAB, Google Play listing | Free |
| iOS | iPhone and iPad builds | Free |
| Browser | Web terminal, reached from the site menu | Free |
The terminal supports one-click trading, order parameters set directly on the chart, a server-side trailing stop, multiple chart types and a tick chart the broker presents as suited to short-term execution. Charts, quote lists and settings synchronise across desktop, mobile and browser, and the platform carries the crypto instrument line alongside forex and CFDs. The developer console in the cabinet exposes a JavaScript-based bot editor and an indicator editor, which is where algorithmic trading is built rather than imported.
Neither MetaTrader platform is offered on the current site. MetaTrader 4 appears only in the documentation menu and in a legacy clause of the Client Agreement, and MetaTrader 5 does not appear at all. Traders whose workflow depends on MetaTrader, on the MetaTrader Expert Advisor ecosystem, or on third-party tools that connect only to MetaTrader should treat this as a decision point rather than a detail.
Just over 250 instruments are published in the live conditions feed, spread across eleven groups. Counting is possible row by row, and the total is close to the About page's own claim of more than 40 currency pairs and more than 10 indices and metals. Where a group publishes an ECN or fixed-spread variant of the same pair, that variant is counted separately.
| Asset class | Count | Examples |
| Forex pairs | 44 | EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, USD/TRY, USD/MXN, USD/ZAR |
| Forex ECN pairs | 8 | EUR/USD.ecn, GBP/USD.ecn, USD/JPY.ecn |
| Forex big pairs | 8 | EUR/USD.big, GBP/USD.big, USD/JPY.big |
| Fixed-spread pairs | 13 | EUR/USD.fix, GBP/JPY.fix, EUR/CHF.fix |
| Currency exchange | 7 | USD/CNY, USD/THB, USD/VND, USD/RUB |
| Metals | 9 | Gold, Gold versus euro, Silver, Silver versus euro, Copper, Platinum, Palladium, Zinc |
| Index CFDs | 8 | S&P 500, NASDAQ 100, Dow 30, DAX 30, FTSE 100, ASX 200, CAC 40, US Dollar Index |
| Share and commodity CFDs | 143 | Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Amazon, Tesla, Alibaba, Boeing, HSBC, Siemens, Toyota, plus aluminium, Brent crude, WTI crude, sugar and wheat |
| Crypto pairs | 11 | Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Cardano, Dash, Gram, Sonic |
| Total | 251 | Across all groups |
Two practical notes. First, the broker's single largest group is labelled "CFD Stocks" but holds 143 contracts that include commodity and energy lines alongside single shares, so a reader counting equity exposure from the group name alone will overstate it. Second, the Crypto Currency group pairs each digital asset against the US dollar and is presented as tradable instruments in the terminal, and the Currency Exchange group covers currencies that are not traded as forex pairs at a different charge, up to 1% of the amount on purchase.
The regulatory position is the single most important finding in this review, and it is a negative one. No regulator is named on the website. No licence number is published. The About page's "Regulation" section contains no authority, jurisdiction or registration reference, and the 15-page Client Agreement does not mention a supervisory body once. What the site offers instead is a description of standards the broker says it insists on, which is a statement of intent rather than an authorisation.
The entity question compounds it. The About page states that the broker is owned and managed by TIM GROUP INC. of Belize, and the contact page gives that company's registered address at Corner Hutson & Eyre Street, Suite 302, Blake Building, Belize City. The footer of every page carries the same corporate name The Client Agreement, however, names ALFA DIGITAL LLP as the contracting party and states that this entity supports trade execution and settlements. Three names appear in the public documents, and the one that would hold a client's money is not settled by anything the broker publishes. The agreement fixes the place of signature and the governing law as Belize, which is the only jurisdictional fact stated with precision.
Independent verification points the same way. Regulator registers in Belize, where the broker's own contract places its registered office and governing law, show no entry for this broker or for the entity it names as owner; two commercial verification services document that same negative search, and one of them records a headline verdict of "Not Regulated" beside its score. Two commercial broker-verification databases score it in the lowest band: one records a combined score of 2.03 out of 10 with an explicit "Not Regulated" verdict, and the other records 2.39 out of 10, ranks it 375th of 417 companies reviewed, and states its experts do not recommend the broker. A third database states plainly that the broker "has not been verified or tested" by its team and publishes no rating for it at all. No financial regulator has issued a public warning about this broker, which is worth stating precisely: the absence of a warning is not a clean bill of health when there is no licence for a warning to attach to.
Fund handling is described but not independently verified. The broker states that client funds are kept segregated from company funds, that it works only with AA+ rated banks, that it uses STP execution without a dealing desk, and that withdrawals can only return to the source account used for the deposit. Each of those is a meaningful protection if it holds, and none of them is evidenced by a published statement, an audit, or a regulatory filing.
There is no compensation scheme. The GURS badge in the footer is a membership of a private protection fund, described on the fund's own site as a non-profit body to which participating brokers contribute between 50,000 and 1,000,000 US dollars to cover customer claims, and which lists this broker among its dealing centres. That is not a statutory investor-compensation arrangement, and it is not supervised by a financial regulator. If the firm fails, a client's route to recovery runs through the fund's own complaints procedure and, failing that, through the courts of Belize.
Dispute resolution is also internal. The Client Agreement directs claims to the company's email addresses and states that where a dispute is not covered by the agreement, the final decision is made by the company itself on the basis of market practice and its own view of a fair settlement. No ombudsman, arbitration body or regulator is named as an escalation route. Readers should weigh that before depositing, and should confirm the identity of the receiving entity, the jurisdiction of the contract and the availability of any compensation scheme directly with the broker, in writing, before funding an account.
Support is organised into three departments, each with a published remit, hours and a named address, plus a live chat window embedded on every page of the website. No telephone number is published for any department, and the contact page masks the addresses in its page source behind a Cloudflare protection layer even though they are published content, so a prospective client's first real contact channel is the chat window or the cabinet's support form.
| Channel | Availability | Scope |
| Live chat on the website | Embedded site-wide, availability hours not published | General enquiries and pre-sales questions |
| Financial department, [email protected] | 07:00 to 16:00 London time, Monday to Friday | Deposits and withdrawals |
| Client department, [email protected] | Stated as 24-hour | General and technical questions |
| Development department, [email protected] | Stated as 24-hour | Partnership and agent commission questions |
| Cabinet technical-support form | Available to logged-in clients | Account, verification and platform issues |
| Telegram bot and channel | Continuous | Notifications, account confirmation, announcements |
| Telephone | Not published | No telephone number is published for any department |
Two response commitments are published, both in the Client Agreement. Withdrawal orders are to be executed within two working days of a complete request, and the company is to respond to a client's email about an alleged breach of the agreement within three working days. No service-level target is published for general support enquiries, and the site does not state a language list for support staff.
The cabinet also supports two-factor authentication and Telegram account linking, both described as protections for login credentials. Two practical cautions for a reader. First, the support pages are the only place a client can settle questions the public site leaves open, including restricted jurisdictions, account currencies and payment fees, so responsiveness matters more here than it would at a broker that publishes those answers. Second, where a firm's regulator is unidentified, a support ticket is not a substitute for a documented answer: news trading at release time, for instance, depends on execution and slippage terms that should be confirmed in writing rather than accepted verbally, so keep written confirmation of any term that affects your money.
The broker's educational material is delivered as a written documentation library inside the client cabinet rather than as a course. It is large for a broker of this size: 266 published items arranged in 11 categories, all reachable from the site menu. The homepage also advertises free video tutorials and an FXSchool section for beginners.
| Category | Items | What it covers |
| Indicators | 72 | Individual indicator references, from moving averages, RSI and MACD through Bollinger Bands, Parabolic SAR and the Alligator set |
| Terminal | 50 | Terminal operation, order types, chart handling, account history, balance and volume controls |
| Trader's book | 47 | Market structure, participants, taxation, money management, expected value, risk diversification |
| Professional systems | 20 | Named trading systems with rules, including trend, channel, oscillator and scalping approaches |
| Graphical elements | 19 | Chart objects and drawing tools, including Fibonacci fan, channel, time zone and lines |
| Mobile terminal | 15 | Installation and operation on Android and iOS |
| Programming | 15 | Bot construction, indicator coding, the bot and indicator editors, JavaScript documentation |
| Ideology | 14 | Terminal design decisions, pricing display, server behaviour, time-zone handling |
| TIS & PAMM | 6 | Manager account registration, investor participation, order copying, closing a manager account |
| Currencies | 4 | What forex is, market participants, worked earnings examples |
| Cryptocurrencies | 4 | Bitcoin, the crypto market, exchanges and how to trade |
The strongest part of the library is the technical and programming material: a beginner can work through indicator references and a bot-construction path inside the same product they trade on. The weakest part is structured learning. There is no assessment, no curriculum sequence and no certification, so the library rewards self-direction rather than guiding a new trader through a defined progression. The advertising of free video tutorials and FXSchool material is not backed by a published index, so its extent cannot be assessed from outside the cabinet.
Analytical tooling is concentrated in the terminal and the investment area rather than in a separate research portal. There is no published VPS offer, and no dedicated sentiment or positioning indicator beyond the swap and free-swap columns in the conditions feed.
| Tool | Where it sits | What it provides |
| Live conditions feed | Public trading-conditions page | Per-instrument ask, bid, spread, swap short, swap long and free-swap commission, filterable by group and currency |
| Trading-hours and sessions table | Public trading-hours page | Session windows and break times per instrument group, plus the swap-charging and end-of-day reset schedule |
| Economic calendar | Advertised on the site index | Timed economic releases, described by the broker as timely |
| Terminal charting | Mobius Trader 7 | Multiple chart types, tick chart, drawing objects including Fibonacci retracement, server-side trailing stop, chart templates |
| Indicator library | Documentation and terminal | 72 documented indicators, with an editor for building custom ones |
| Bot and strategy development | Cabinet developer console | JavaScript bot editor, indicator editor, documented API for order handling |
| Trader monitoring | Investment section | Ranked manager accounts with profitability, drawdown and age data, filterable for direct investment |
| Order copying | Investment section | Routes a manager's orders to an investor account, with minimum, like-a-trader, fixed and ratio volume modes |
| Contests | Contests section | Periodic competitions including a beginner championship, with published results and an archive |
The conditions feed is the most useful research artifact on the site because it is the same data the platform serves, and it is readable without an account. The trader-monitoring page is the second, because it exposes the actual track record of managers a client can invest in rather than a marketing sample. Traders who rely on external backtesting, on third-party signal platforms, or on a broker-supplied VPS should note that none of those is provided here, and that the absence of MetaTrader closes off most third-party Expert Advisor marketplaces.
The current website publishes no awards page and no dated industry recognition. Two items are presented instead. The first is a "GURS Protected" badge in the footer of every page, carrying the text "Global Unite Responsibility System", the words "Excellence in FX Services", and a certificate reference printed as "prize problem N1284032". The second is the certificate page itself, which carries two GURS certificates: one registered on 10 October 2011 and stated as valid for up to 15 years, certifying services rendered by the broker, and one registered on 11 May 2026 and stated as valid for up to 10 years, certifying that the certified services are provided by the company. Both are signed by the same GURS director.
Neither item is an industry award. GURS is a membership organisation rather than an awards body. Its own website describes it as a non-profit organisation created to control the level of service provided by brokers and dealing centres, to which participating brokers contribute between 50,000 and 1,000,000 US dollars to cover customer claims, and it lists this broker among its dealing centres, describing it as a long-established one. Membership of a private protection fund is a different thing from an award, and it is not a licence.
Archived versions of the site do show one historical award, an IAIR Awards 2013 recognition carrying the same "Excellence in FX Services" wording, and the live footer still prints that wording without naming IAIR. Every award the broker publishes, including that one, is set out in the structured data output that accompanies this review, with its provider, its year where published, and descriptions in all four languages. Awards are self-reported by brokers, criteria vary between bodies, and a reader should treat them as marketing context rather than as evidence about execution quality, fund safety or regulatory standing.
Certifies the services rendered by the broker under the Global Unite Responsibility System, registered on 10 October 2011 and stated as valid for up to 15 years.
Certifies that the certified services are provided by the company, registered on 11 May 2026 and stated as valid for up to 10 years.
The strengths here are concrete and checkable. The instrument range is published with counts that survive a row-by-row audit. Commission and spread models are stated in plain language for every instrument group. The terminal runs natively on six environments and costs nothing. The written documentation runs to 266 items and includes a genuine path into automated strategy development. Minimum deposits of 1 USD and 5 USD lower the cost of finding out how the execution behaves. Support is organised into named departments with published hours.
The weaknesses are equally concrete, and they cluster in one place. The broker names no regulator, publishes no licence number, and its 15-page Client Agreement does not mention a supervisory authority once. Three different company names appear across the public documents, and the one named as the contracting party in the agreement is not the one presented on the About page. There is no statutory compensation scheme, dispute resolution is decided inside the company, and the FAQ that would answer routine eligibility questions does not load. Added to that, payment fees and account currencies are unpublished, and dated customer complaints on third-party platforms describe withdrawals that were declined or delayed for months.
This broker therefore suits a particular kind of trader: someone experienced, funding a modest amount they can afford to lose, who wants crypto exposure alongside forex and CFDs, values a low minimum deposit and a broad terminal line-up, and is comfortable managing counterparty and jurisdictional risk themselves. It also suits a position trading or swing trading approach, where the account is funded once and held for weeks rather than cycled in and out. It does not suit a trader who needs a named regulator, a compensation scheme, published payment terms, MetaTrader compatibility or a documented escalation route before committing capital, and it is not appropriate for anyone depositing funds they cannot afford to lose.
Nothing in this review is a recommendation to open an account. Trading foreign exchange and contracts for difference carries the risk of losing money rapidly, and leverage increases that risk in both directions. Before funding any account at this broker, a reader should obtain written confirmation of the entity that will hold the funds, the jurisdiction whose courts would hear a dispute, the current swap-free charges if that structure is needed, and the per-method deposit and withdrawal fees. The decision rests with the reader.
Forex trading can involve the risk of loss beyond your initial deposit. It is not suitable for all investors and you should make sure you understand the risks involved, seeking independent advice if necessary.
Forex accounts typically offer various degrees of leverage and their elevated profit potential is counterbalanced by an equally high level of risk. You should never risk more than you are prepared to lose and you should carefully take into consideration your trading experience.
