The removal of popular trading apps is reportedly linked to the Western sanctions on Russia Apple appears to have pulled popular trading apps MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 4, also known as MT4 and MT5, from the App Store overnight in a move possibly linked to the Western sanctions.
The decision made by Apple will only affect new users of the apps. If you’re currently trading on MT4 or MT5 you can continue to use the iOS apps.
Every effort is being taken to restore the apps as soon as possible.
In the meantime, MetaTrader mobile terminals for Android remain unaffected and are available in the Google Play Store.
